Well, I finally got the first assignment done, but I feel that this is only the beginning of my struggles in this class. The test is looming near and I'll need to get as much aid for the test so I can understand the material. Combined that with my other subjects, and another test in CSC next week and this is going to be a very tough week.
I believe that if I keep this up, I could get through this week and eventually, the month of February just fine.
Thankfully, I understood the concept of implication a lot better than I did just a week ago and negation has become a habit for me in logic. The topics I enjoyed looking at were DeMorgan's Law, the law of equivalence and the truth tables, now that I have understood them better. It seems that the next topic is about proof and I am not very efficient in providing proof to my answers, so I am very cautious about this topic.
Thankfully, I've been focusing a lot more in class, and I've started taking notes on certain functions that are brought up, so maybe I can finally start learning properly because I believe that February is going to be a brutal and challenging month.

First Post
So, here we are at the end of the week.
Sorry for not getting a post here sooner, I was occupied with getting an essay done and with a math test looming on the horizon next Wednesday, it'll take a while before the next post here.
Anyways, the concept of quantifiers started making much more sense than it did last week.
The quiz went well, and my experience with proving or disproving quantified claims worked well for Tuesday's tutorial/quiz.
I even met someone who was willing to help me. He was a graduate student who wanted to understand mathematical reasoning as much as the undergrads. He helped me and a handful of other other students in my tutorial on the venn diagram question. I look forward to seeing him again next week.
I felt that this week, I was not really giving it my all to concentrate on the lectures because I was easily distracted by going on the internet to read up something that I could have done after the lecture. I came out of the Wednesday's lecture with a bit of uncertainty that I could understand implications and negations.
However, at least on Friday's lecture, I could understand a bit better on implications and learned about vacuous truths and maybe, I could eventually understand the concept of equivalence.
Hopefully next week, these concepts will start making much more sense and perhaps, I'll be able to work on the assignment (perhaps with a partner).
